I picked up a couple of vacs from my grandmother = a Hoover Flair with power nozzle and a Panasonic hand held with rotating brush. The Flair picks up quite well for being a light weight but the motor gets quite hot and actually shut off after using it for just a few minutes. I had to let it cool down for about 30 min. before it would restart. Is that normal? It is bagless. I cleaned the filter and dirt cup and tried it again and it seemed to run a little longer this time.
