(I'd love to have the instruction manual, though!)

On the other hand...

This is very very lovely and, if I did not already have one equally nice, I'd be very tempted.

I have to say, the Compact is easily my second-favorite canister vacuum cleaner, second only to Electrolux. The Compact is powerful (but a bit loud) and funky looking, and I do love me some turquoise. I use mine just about as often as I use one of my Electroluxes.

Not to stir the pot too much, but is it fair to complain about the price when both items here have a best offer option?
[I think most of the prices on Ebay are nuts myself but who am I to judge when they actually sell for such crazy prices?]
Just my two cents.

P.S. Charles please don't take this as a personal attack. I have you and your website to thank or blame:) for my love of Electrolux. I have more than I can count now and I could have cared less about them 10 years ago. I just wanted to comment on the principle.

Oh, I did not notice the "make offer" thingie on them. But I will say, the few times I've "made an offer" on an old vacuum cleaner that I thought was fair, the seller declined.

And n.b., no umbrage taken at all :)
