So nice to see a new generation of vac fans out there! Boy, I wish I had had this club for support when I was 15 years old in the 1970's!

Nice Hoover WindTunnel there....looks like it's in pretty good condition. The power nozzle is very effective.

But I would test drive the machine at the seller's home before buying it...maybe with one of your parents.

Have fun in Vacuumland - "The Happiest Place in the Vacuum Cleaner World"!

Welcome Michael, that looks like a very nice machine for the money. Have you thought about having one of your parents join the VCCC with you as their guest? I know you would enjoy the newsletters and maybe attending our next convention with one of them.
Terry

You will LOVE this forum. It is ever so helpful and friendly =]. That is a GREAT deal for that vacuum. I have the same one and love it. It has very good suction, pretty good attachments, and a decent power nozzle.
Hope that helps,
~Chase

Michael,

Welcome and by all means pick up that machine. The price is right!

Hope you enjoy it here. Perhaps you can get your parents to let you join the club.

I too would like to welcome you to the forum/club.

There are a lot of nice people in the club & a lot of helpful info.

I am somewhat limited on any assistance w/ other brands (don't want to repair or rebuild others); however, with KIRBYs, if there is any way I may be of help, feel free to contact me [thru my email in my profile might be the quickest]. I carry Genuine Kirby parts w/deeply discounted prices for members. And again, welcome Michael.

Bill

Awfully decent of you to finally show up a007kirbyman -

Awfully decent. You do realize there have been eight people welcome Michael to the forum already right?

Hey Mrrrrrr VP,

Actually it's more than eight, there's another thread w/welcomes for Michael in the Vintage I believe as well.

I commend him (Michael) for introducing himself before any of us had a chance to welcome him!!! No dirt under his vacs! (Oops, I mean grass growing under his... ...uhhhmmm, feet.)

So yes, I am NOT so fast at it this time. ~~LOL~~ It happens w/older age...

...you wouldn't know alot about that though would you, smarty-pants?!?!? ~~~LOL~~

Some people get it really, really bad!!! And even worse though, are those who develop CRS Syndrome! This would be particularly bad for spies like us, eh?

Cheers & hagd all,

Bill

...that's it, that's all the response I get from you Rick?

Are your fingers tired from composing your next coffee pot thread for posting? ~~LOL~~

Here's wishing you a wonderfully, great day. Be diligently watchful today, as you may stumble upon secrets.

Cheers & hagd all,

Bill
