So after one hell of a week, I decided I needed to focus on something other than family drama and hospitals, so, I pulled out the old Kirby Heritage my grandmother gave me back in 1999 that has been sitting in a storage closet for about three years, and decided to clean it up. Felt good to get back into my vacs. I'm moving into a much MUCH bigger place next month and intend to rebuild my collection. Here are the results...

a Kirby from each grandma..


the D-80 is from my granny on moms side of the family (still alive and kickin!) and the Heritage is from my granny on my dads side.. (naggin grandpa somewhere off in the great beyond)

One of my favorite Kirby's...I used my graduation money from High School to purchase mine. I had the Turbo edition....still have a machine like it, but traded mine in for an Ultimate G.

I did get an email a while back from someone in here about them. I must get new homes for these cleaners. They are: 2 Kirby(s), A Royal "Prince", a Filter Queen, An Electrolux floor polisher (gold). there MIGHT be a few more items leaving the 'palace', as Mike calls it. Mockingbird Lane fits, too. I have seen the Kirby Tradition with my own eyes. Its in very good cosmetic condition but I have no idea how well it runs
