in regards to the retro-vac

I emailed this company a few weeks ago asking if they still have these in stock... no response at all. Makes me wonder...

Well, I imagine some vac shops and dealers still have stock on hand even though the machine is not actually being made any more. Same with the ill-fated Royal Powercast, one of the most beautiful machines in recent history but doomed to failure because of its incredible weight and bulk. They were a pretty pricey machine when they came out, but now Royal dealers can hardly give them away. You can still get them even though Royal stopped making them, what, two years ago?!

I really like the RetroVac and would like to have one but don't have the room or the $$ for one.

I called them, they sold out last week. Too bad, I would like to have had one too!

I did see on in a vac shop in western Nebraska this summer, but it was the floor model, a little banged up and they still wanted $200 for it.

oh well!

that answers my question! Guess I will have to just be content with my Eureka 1432. Now if I can just find a decent Hoover Convertible. and a vintage Royal, I'll be set (for a while :) )
