I recently acquired a Hoover Concept I and the cord winder is shot, it will only retract about two three inches before stopping. Anybody have any advice on how to repair a cord winder? By the way, this is my first Concept. They are a challenge to take apart and get to the fan. Not as easy as the Eureka F&G or Hoover Convertibles. I have heard on the this forum that cord winder repair can be dangerous because of tension from the springs. |

We have a Concept One just like that at my Uncle's Cabin except it's not a Concept One Powerdrive. |
