The owners picked up hot coals from the fireplace with it, then threw it outside into the snow after it caught fire. After all this though, it runs PERFECTLY. The damage was just cosmetic.

Well it probably tell you in the instruction NOT to do this! The American public is not too swift. At least they knew to throw it out of the house before the whole place burnt down. Great picture!

That is amazing. I thought I had seen it all...

But it does show how well they build these.

yes, but did you consider how much replacing the base, the brushroll, the filter assembly and bag compartment front door will cost? I hope you will charge the repair a lot, maybe those people will understand how idiot they've been and how dangerous what they did was.

Another response-NON SPORTING use of a Sebo vacuum cleaner.wonder how they burned the floor nozzle though.A hot coal got caught in it?or did they?I have a Sebo Automatic#4 I beleive-too nice of a machine to clean your fireplace with!If you HAVE to vacuum the ashes from the fireplace-at least PROMPTLY replace the bag and put it in a fireproof metal can outside the house!Live coals can survive in the ashes for many weeks-because the ash is such a good heat insulator.
