Hey guys... I made a youtube comparing the Windtunnel to the Smart Vac. Just thought I'd share... remember I'm new at this whole video thing. My goodness why does youtube take 3 hours to load a 3 minute video with a high speed connection?

The Eureka was noticeably more hungry for that paper then the Hoover. They both did quite good though.

I think you did a great job. I had the opportunity to use a Eureka SmartVac when I did my student teaching last year. My cooperating teacher usually vacuumed her own room, because the janitor did not always do the best job. Most rooms had half carpet and the rest was bare floor. The Eureka was the only vacuum the school had; it got a lot of use.
You have a nice collection. I would like to see more of your F&G Eurekas.

You did a great job! I once owned both of those vacuums. The only thing I didn't like about the Hoover was its fast shifting transmission. Otherwise, it was a great vacuum and I thought it always had very good suction/airflow with the tools too. The Smart Vac was a good machine too. It had an aggressive brush roll, but the bare floor switch very quickly stopped working. And I don't remember it being as effective with tools. Now you should do a video with your three Kirby vacs! Is that a Sanitronic back there?

Now why didn't I stop by and visit your "Eureka Vac World" last time I visited Walt Disney World?

Do you sell a day pass?

EP Brian :-D

Thanks guys. Bill, I have four Kirbys. DS 80, Heritage 2, G5, and Sentria... favorites are DS80 and Sentria.... I tend to like them really old or really new, stuff in the middle doesn't do a whole lot for me... the Heritage is my least favorite, and I never use it, but keep it since it was from my childhood. I thought about comparing the Sentria and the DS 80, or Sentria and Dyson. Someone who saw my video on youtube e-mailed me and asked me to compare Miele Plus to the Sentria, but they are totally different animals!

Brian, you should have come by! It's so fun to play vacuums with another collector! I may be getting rid of the Sanitaire with dirt cup (SC887 so I have room for the new one, I never use it anyway, it's powerful, but just blows dust)!
