Hello guys, this morning I've found another Lux z55 at on open air market, in its own original box, with all the tools and original green hose. I've cleaned it and and tried it: it works fine. I've als found a 1986 Miele, pictures are in the Contemporary vacuum forum!

notice the sleighs have been coverd in felt in order to glide on bare floors without scratching them.

Very lovely!

I =LOVE= the felt booties! That's a first for me -- have never seen that before. Some nice lady spent quite a time stitching those up by hand!

What a beautiful vacuum! What a lucky guy you are. How much did you pay?

on a great find. A beautiful lux for sure. And the original attachments and carrying case make it even better, as do the runner booties! Definitely a unique touch.
