I am afraid there isn't much that can be done-the "plasticizers" in the hose plastic have leached out due to age-rendering the hose material stiff and probably brittle.Plasticizers give plastics stength or makes them flexible.I would try to look for a replacement hose.Storing plastic vac hoses in hot dry areas can cause the plasticizers to leach out of the plastic.Keep your hoses in livable type areas to prevent leaching and drying.Don't be tempted to store them in an attic or other hot areas.
