Today was yet a wonderful day, perfect for garage saling. I started off at a church rummage sale, where there was a Hoover Steam Vac with automatic tool conversion, mint condition and the manual, but it was twenty bucks, 15 dollars more than I would pay..As soon as I walked in there was a lady paying for a MINT CONDITION Oreck XL 8300, not a scratch, 20 dollars, I would have payed that! =], I was angry that I missed it. But I already do have one so I will live. At another sale I found an Oreck Buster B canister, all the attachments, in very good shape. It is decent. The bearings could use some work. Next was a Eureka World Vac upright, with all of the tools, bags, and manual. Stapled to the manual was a neat pamphlet thing with the "Boss Family" on it. Notice the ESP Self Propelled with the precision like headlight. It is very interested and I would like to find one. The next garage sale over I found a Eureka 1934a for two dollars. It just needs a clean up and a new belt. Runs very nicely. And lastly, was something I was just telling a friend I wanted. Another Eureka Mighty Mite. This thing is MINT. There is barely any scratches, and the color is aweseome! ha. It came with all of the attachments and some bags. I had a green one years ago, and I threw it out because the bearings went bad, and I never wanted to pay the price for a new one, so I am very happy I saw this! All for the price of 8 dollars! And I also found 6 Hoover Type Z bags for a quarter. Much better than the 7 dollars I would have payed at the store! Everything works great and I am very happy. I paid the grand total of $19.25! Now I just need 30 more dollars for the Wintunnel Air!

Wow, I didn't know the Bravos were being sold right along side those F and G models.... seems like most of your finds were Eurekas. Congrats on the 1934A... If you don't have one already, you are going to love that thing! I like the Mighty Mite in that color... those are nice straight suction vacs... when I sold vacs at Sears, the people who had cleaning business always raved about them... only problems being cord storage and friction fit tools.... I loved the floor tool with those, and the blower port, rare on modern vacuums. Nice finds :o)

I'd have gotten that steam vac if I didn't already have one and found one like that... that's a good price, and the automatic tool conversion is definitely nice. I don't use the hose on my as much as I'd like to because it's such a pain to connect.

Mighty Mite

I vacuumed my entire grandparents house with that little thing. It is GREAT. They have a very low pile carpet in one room and the rest of the house is hard wood floors and rugs. So it did a great job! So much easier to use on the hard floors rather than her handheld Euerka Copperhead thing. I do have a 1934a, and I do love it, ha =]. They are GREAT vacuums. Once I get this one cleaned it up it will probably go to Kyle.

Mighty Mite

I've got the Mighty Mite in yellow too, that's the daily driver in our house since we have pretty much all hardwood floors. It sure takes a beating and holds up well too! I LOVE the easy bag change on it, even when I'm not "in the mood" I can readily change the bag in the blink of an eye. Or last week bugs were all over my ceiling and I simply vacuumed them up with it then tossed the bag right out.
