I searched Google Images for "New Kirby Vacuum" and found this picture. This is what the site says.. "Dont believe us? Check out our pile of trade ins. Almost every one of these were thrown away and are wothless. Even the makers of these vacuums dont want them back. They want you to buy a new vacuum every few years and throw your old one away. Our Thoughts are to Buy Once and Buy Right." -greatvacs.com I beg it differ! I see a Singer, some Kirbys, some Panisonics, Hoover Eiltes, Orecks, Sanitaires, Convertibles, Concept, Hoover Powerdrives, Dial-a-Matic, and most likely alot more. What do you see? He's right about about the vacuum companies and some cheapo one, but, I'm sorry, ALOT of vacuums there are worth alot. |

I purchased a Kirby G4 from Greatvacs. I'd definately buy from them again. When the vac arrived it was showroom new. There was a piece that was damaged in shipping though and they PROMPTLY replaced it at no cost to me whatsoever. No questions. Didn't even have to send the busted piece back. Very nice people. There are a few decent vacuums in that trade-in photo, but I'd say most of their owners definitely traded up to a new Kirby. However, I'd have restored that G4 rather than waste it. Also, that Electrolux ProLux Plus is too good a vacuum to throw away. There are a few Simpicity uprights, a Miele canister, and a white canister behind the Filter Queen that could be either a Miele White Pearl or a Sebo C3.1, all of which might be restorable.
