I just found this website. I did not know we could get Vorwerk here in the USA. This company is in Los Angeles. I do remember when I first started working for my company we had many Advance Mighty maids which were rebadged Vorwerk's. I kick myself for not keeping one.

apparently an import-export-wiseguy

hi, it seems to me that this person is trying to make a living from importing european goods to the US (which is fine)

Vorwerk has been selling vacuums in the US ever since, look up "Vorwerk.com" to see the original pages. The "Kobold" (which translates goblin or dwarf) was called "Mighty Maid" for some years in the US when they still had their American headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. They seem to have moved... (In France, the unit is called Optima, in Ireland you might find it as "Vacmaster")

Your sales site has Laurastar as well, a fantastic steam ironing system (the best on the market, as far as I can say, we own one): Their original site is "www.laurastar.com"... (Switzerland).

Also Rommelsbacher is in there, a company that had hot plates and all kinds of immersion heaters in the 50ies and 60ies (German brand) but now, they merely make heating elements for other companies (hair dryer manufacturers and the like).

If this all is useful to you, just contact me, there is more to know. (Am not interested in boring our folks here with blahblah stuff).

Cheers
Joe
