Never happened to me before. Probably least prone to static would be my metal Sanitaire, since it's metal is grounded through the cord. |

Yeah I have had it happen before... I find using hand cream before vacuuming stops it. |

the only time I got shocked by the dyson is back when we were in kansas and the winters there are incredibly dry, but since moving to iowa that has stopped. |
