Seven years ago, I put 6 vacuums in storage in Oregon. A few months ago, my sister brought two of them down from Oregon to my father's place in San Francisco. I just picked up my Hoover Model 28 at Dad's and took it up to Cottonwood (No. Arizona) for storage. My Dad loves the Eureka Model M (circa 1935) so much that I left it with him for now. Here are some pictures of the Eureka (I took none of the Model 28 - maybe next trip.....) In October, I will be going up to Portland to pick up the other 4 vacuums.....

The M is a beautiful machine. Wish you taken some side, angled, and rear views to show the streamlined design!

I've never seen this version with the brown belt plate and bag. Billy Lipman has a beautiful one with black bag and plate, and I had one too for a while but it was in unrestored condition so I eventually got rid of it. I still have the bag for it, thought, black with gold pinstripes. It's really a beautiful bag.

Thx for the photos and story of another old vacuum being appreciated. Warms the cockles of my heart! :)

Next time I'm in S.F. I will take some more shots of this wonderful vacuum. I DO remember Billy's - it was a beauty.
