I just got a BEAUTIFUL GE swivel top canister today...dark brown, chrome and light tan..it is the model-V13C11 with cord rewind.Dose anyone know what year this was made and how much these cost new?
Hans,I know you have one just like it.
I just love the ge push button switch on the bumper in the middle of the GE logo

I love those Swivel Tops, I have two of them. I still want the fancy loaded up Glade Green one from 1960.

Very cool find!

They are great machines, David. I am especially a fan of the earlier, metal ones, but they were well-built vacuums, for certain!

That was made in!!!!

The one I have still had the little hangtag on it saying the it was made in 1963,the green one still had the book in which the original owner had written 2 2 62.
