But, I probably wont LOL..Truthfully , I lost something on e bay today I have wanted since I was 12 years old,and have never seen one except in a book,When I was 12 my mom came home one day with a bunch of books that were being sold at the library, one of them I still have today,Young Homemakers Equipment Guide, By Louise J Peet, 1963, Among other things in it was a picture of a G E floor washer attachment that worked off the blower of the swivel top, imagine after all these years, low and behold..there is one on e bay,well..I waited all these years just to SEE one!!!,but someone wanted it too,and had a lot more cash than I do,I figured it might bring 50.00 so I bid 75. Would you believe that thing went for 204.00!!!oh well, someone is happy, the moral of this is,yes im dissapointed,to say the least, but it took me over 30 years to get my pink Kenkart so, oh well I will find one yet, I have learned patience as ive gotten older!!

One thing I've noticed with Ebay over the years.. something . shows up, like this thing you're talking about, gets a good buck and then all of a sudden more and more show up. It's like people who have them sitting around and never thought twice about them all of a sudden get dollar bills in their eyes and onto Ebay they go. They may not even be vac collectors just ordinary folks checking stuff they own on Ebay to see if it's worth anything before they toss it in the trash etc.

Yes, Hans. Keep your hopes and spirits high. What Pete says is so true. I've gotten many a vac for cheap when the listings get flooded after a big score. Surely they made more than a few of these and you shall have one!

That is a fascinating accessory and I was watching it too - but not bidding.

Hang in there,,you'll find one someday! Something you might check, if you have the time(or dont already do it),,check estate sales, household auctions, household sales, ect, especially those of older people that are downsizing to go to a rest home, retirement facility, or have passed away,,whatever.
People from the older generation saved and took care everything (usually) that was considered expensive,,,so those types of sales can be a treasure trove. I found one of my dream machine's that way.
It was a practically new in box Electrolux 1205 with PN,full attachments, and Rug Washer, tray, ect. Even had the white wall and dusting brushes. Rug Washer was still sealed in the box,,she had never opened it.
Found out the lady of the house prefered an upright Hoover Convertible,,and used the Lux only for above the floor cleaning once in a great while. It still had the original bag in it from day one, She never even used it enough to fill up the first bag. PN had never even been plugged in. The lady kept the box it came in even,,she would store the vac in the back of an upstairs hall closet and put it back in the box each time. So,,hey,,you never know,,i sure wasnt expecting to find much at that sale,,and then, JACKPOT! If i remember right,,i think i gave 50 bucks for the whole thing.

Yes Hans, one of these will turn up. You might even watch the listings to see if the same one gets relisted. Sometimes collectors get a bit overheated in their bidding then buyer's remorse sets in (or else their sigot finds out about the purchase and has a tizzy), they don't pay, and the thing gets listed again.
