Hi everyone,

Here's a snap of my latest interesting find. Picked this up for £10 at a car boot sale. It needs some TLC - the brushroll was in a right state, and it was caked in dust. The handle release was also very stiff - I think this may have been lying around in someones garage for a long time. After a good cleanup, inside and out, it's looking pretty fantastic and runs like a dream. The serial number is 37640075 9729 3830. Would anybody be able to date it? Also, it has all the tools missing. Does anyone have, or know where I could buy a full set of tools for this (extension tube, upholstery brush, crevice tool & dusting brush)?.

Video (hopefully) to follow soon :)

all the best,
Chris

PS. I've also acquired a DC01 - but they're not very interesting lol.

Fab find there Chris!

Cant date it as these ran for well over 10 years and most I find have the modern serial numbers that were not dated like the previous ones.

Ours is in really nice condition, the only thing that let these machines down was the lower cable holder being omitted but you can add one if you like just by removing the red cover and fitting a black replacement.

Few new Turbopower additions ourselves but what with no interest from members here we didnt post.

If your ever over in Cheshire let us know you can some and have a play with the collection, we passed the 200th Vac landmark some time ago! LOL god knows how we fit them all in.

Very nice Rob :). I remember these being EVERYWHERE when I was younger towards the back end of 90's. At least 4 friends from school had them. It's a great vacuum. My only complaint is that I can't vacuum my doormat with it because it keeps getting sucked up lol.

Thank you, I will deffo be paying you a visit if I am in your neck of the woods. What are the new additions? I'm a huge Turbopower fan. I have the U2198 also. Dying to get my hands on a U2332 and a U2602 :)

I have a brand new motor for a turbopower if anyone wants to buy it.

I bought it last year for my turbopowers but I sold all of the turbopowers I had so this has been sat in my wardrobe for ages.

It is brand new and in box still!

New.....

We managed to bag a NIB Turbopower2,

This one is the model my Auntie Carole had in 1994 to replace her Electricty board special Turbomaster Total System.

I dont ever remember her using the Autosense function as most people didnt. The boost button was permanently switched in.

OK scrap that for now. Just realised Paul didnt upload the pics on my PC,

So onto the other ones.

Leccy board special soft bag from the 2nd series of Turbo's although it is just a variant of the 1st one.

Extra features included an airfreshener. Kindy given to me by Richard in Bristol.

Next was this beauty found in a junk shop in Cardiff.

Just needs a T Cut job in the handle and a bit of paint blend to polish out those streaks.
