I present the Eureka Boss se. I got this beauty at the local thrft shop for $29.95 I cleand it up, changed the pn belt, motor and exhaust filter. It is a nice lite vac and quite powerfull.I reall liked the speckled colour of it. When I was in the vac shop to get the belt and new bags, I noticed the exact vacuum on the floor for a sale price of $169.00 I think I got a great deal..

I've always liked Eurekas like that... quiet and powerful. Yours looks good... I'd probably have snatched it up for that price too! Congrats on the find. Did it come with the attachments on board? What is that gray thing the power nozzle neck is? I know some of those models have quick release power nozzle, which is very handy and usually only found on Kenmore/Panasonic canisters. Great for quick snatching stuff along the base boards or snapping on the bare floor tool. Does that one have the bare floor switch and suction regulator in the hand grip?

yes

The grey thing on the pn is a quick release leaver. It does have on board attatchments. It does have a bare floor switch and a suction regulator in the hand grip. There is one feature this vac does not have....a swivel at either end of the hose.

Nice one Brad.I almost got one for 130 at the local hardware store but they seemed to always be out of stock. Now they have the maroon version but that one is never in stock either.Anyway nice find. Let us know how you like the attachments cause I still want one ;)

I have

the ge badged version of this it is an amazing machine unfortunately my brush roll seized up for no reason. So I have not been using it very much. The hose is a bit annoying they had the foresight to make it swivel but not twist.

I had that same one but it was the red one. I did not like it one bit. But I am glad you like yours! Hope you enjoy it!
