I know!

It's shocking!

But this video will prove it to you!

As the narrator says: "This vacuum is has more suction power than - NEARLY - every other vacuum on the market!" and "This high velocity air flow creates more suction than - PROBABLY - any other vacuum you've ever used!"

Oh brother....I can not believe the sales shpiel in this Airider vacuum promo - good for a laugh, friends!

Just THINK !! Floats on air!! double stretch hose! cord reel! and those great terms like "almost", "nearly".... and it moves right across the floor! I guess that means no shipping charges! Just open the store door and it'll "float" right to your door! No bags, and TWO, (count them!! TWO motors! Gee, what did HOOVER and the others call that?? No, wait....

9 years in development, my a$$.

See link below for a classic example of why journalists should stick to writing about what they know, and not allow themselves to become wholly dependant on press releases!

'bag-less design also reduces clogging and increases performance'...must use magic cartridge filters - which don't even require any sort of cyclonic action!

That's NOT journalism

RE: "See link below for a classic example of why journalists should stick to writing about what they know"

Jack,

That's NOT written by a journalist. That's marketing crap, written by a marketing person. There's no evidence I've seen that indicates "Gizmag" engages in anything resembling journalism.

Speaking as a journalist, I can tell you NO self-respecting journalist worthy of the title would ever write something of that nature.

"Pet DANDOR", "ALLERGINS"

Dear God!

The spelling in the video is atrocious. How unprofessional can you get?

Brookstone sold those about five years ago, but they came with an awful turbo nozzle instead of a real power nozzle. I do like the fact that it comes with a real dedicated dusting brush, upholstery nozzle, and bare floor tool. So many vacuums today have terrible combo tools (even the beloved Dyson has started doing that, boo!). I would buy one if I found it cheap now that they come with a real power nozzle.

Self-propelled, huh? Now, that's funny! I don't see how it's any different than any other canister out there except that it floats like the connies. Did they mention the fact that the exhaust air will blow dust all over the floor?

I liked the line up of the other vacuums they had, even a Sentria... though there was some junk there too! I think the Kirby and Dyson were the only real vacuums in the video. I can't imagine a Dyson DC 07 performing that poorly along edges... they must have turned the Dyson off for that demo! I'd still take a Dyson canister with power nozzle any day over that thing.

They were comparing the canister to uprights, which is inane... apples and oranges!

I'll give Airider snaps for giving the machine a real bona fide electric power nozzle. That nozzle is the Active Edge nozzle that I see with certain central vac brands and also with the Miracle Mate, and it's supposed to be pretty good.

However......

They failed to mention that their famous stretch hose is non electric. I think I'll be looking for this as a used machine.

I was mistaken. The power nozzle brand is "Edge Lift".

Judging by the state of the art filteration they have there, the insane 200 MPH Hurricane suction will become nothing more than a fart within minutes or maybe even seconds!

If you "listen"
