Well I took apart the Lux AF today only to find a deep groove carved into the commutator this was caused by misaligned brushes.Well that's how it goes sometimes, I will most likely run into more of these motors so I decided to store the body and restore this treasure at a later date.

EUREKA !!!!!!!!

OK I think I have a solution If I use A 1205 bearing plate and Armature and spacer this will fit the AF motor. All I have to do is get longer studs with washers to hold the bearing plate down to the motor frame. I have used 1205 armatures before in the model G's and they work just fine.
