Hi, A friend of mine asked me to look out for a picture of a vacuum cleaner from the 60s in the uk.... It was made by vactric but went under the name National. I think thats the spelling lol Any one know any thing about it?? It was sold door to door and was a tub type machine with chrome body. I know nothing about them but said i'd ask around for him. Thanks again. James:o) |

It is if I can find the machine James but I can't remember where I put it and there are literally hundreds buried in there! I'm not sure yet when I'll get chance to go down there and even when I do I might have to take out 40 machines before I find it...then I'll have to put them all back again afterwards; that's how bad it is! You're 800 is still safe cos I've hidden it under a table in my bedromm lol. As for Mike's National I have a few like that, though not quite so immaculate cos I never get round to cleaning them. Also, every time I get cylinders, the attachments always seem to get separated from the main cleaner; will I ever learn! Stephen |

Hey Mike, neat picture of your parents first vacuum. Is the tool attached to the wand a floor brush? Looks different from what I am guessing is the rug nozzle. Terry |

They could beat me to it and drop dead before I get round to that lol. I believe that they have another holiday booked but not sure when..but if you like, you can come any time when I'm around for the day. After all, they're not likely to go away that often. At present I'm working three days on 12 1/4 hours and three off; it's on a rolling pattern, so this week it's Friday, Saturday, Sunday off! Just give me a call or send me an email! Stephen |
