Well just this weekend I was able to meet up with my old friend, the Hoover Elite! Elites have been with me my whole life. My parents had one until 2004 when my dad busted the fan and threw it away. Then my grandparents had a Hoover with an Elite motor. All my friends but one had an Elite, and that one had a Kirby G4. But ether way, I had been Elite-less for almost 6 years until this weekend. And I am very Hoover-Happy! Those Elites clean so well and with such a large bag I can't believe I survived with my Tempo! But I was also just looking at that vacuum! I pretty sure that has the 7amp motor in, which not only sounds really cool, but cleans short-piled carpet really well. A bags are still almost everywhere, and even if you can't find them Z and Y bags fit too. I'd say to get it. $100 for new Elite, which has the commercial warranty, is a great deal. Or you could wait like me and get one at the Goodwill for $10 each! Good luck on your Hoovering, I have really rediscovered the Hoover brand this weekend. This Elite has a 7.1 amp motor! I would like to stay in he Hoover Brand this year, and when I saw this vacuum, I flipped out because I always wanted a Hoover Elite! -Josh | ||
