I am looking for those. I need a lot more, but I do have a start to some DDs from the 90's. They are hard to find, and in my lifetime I have only once seen a "Deluxe" upright on ebay, and on power pak, and one can vac, ect. They are very hard to come across. The most common problem with the Deluxe/ MVP was the bag cover would crack. I was told the motors in the Power Paks and Can Vacs went bad, and so would the switch. All of the soft bagged ones were just cheap, and unbearably loud! I do hope you get some though.:) Chase |

Oh and Chase, I saw a Dirt Devil Deluxe at the thrift store once. I probably could have gotten it for around 10 bucks or so but I bought a Bissell and a Hoover instead. |

I have a Dirt Devil Plus upright and I just added a picture of it. Its not for sale because it was the only vacuum I remember my Grandpa having until 2 or 3 years ago when he gave it to me because the hose connector broke. now he has a bissell cleanview which was also on its way out when I used it last (the bearings were getting noisy). I just thought you might like the story!!

How did the hose connector thing break? I know that your Dirt Devil Upright Plus is not for sale, but I still think it's cool that you have one in your collection! |
