The hood and bumper should be orange and the base and handle tan/off white or white =). Its not to often you see a metal base that is of color. Usualy its the hood, bag, bumper and on models with a rubber hadgrip that hold the color scheme. I think I have seen an all blue withe the base painted the same color. I Have an all blue but the base is off white. Oh and seeing the 2 vids, and the pic,you can barley see that the paint is bad. Im guessing its more noticeable in person lol. |

Davis, I thought you were saying because of the color you needed to clean it. Duh Im a jack@ss. Anyway its real easy to take off the cover. Just 2 screws on the underside. The screws are one on each side of the fan chamber, its easyest to hold the hood with one hand while you unscrew. Or lay the vac flat on a towel or soft rug.thats it =). |

That was a Kmart model and it came in three colors. As you can see the orange and that's the most common, then the made on in all taupe, and last but not least and I have herd the rarest of these three is the yellow one ( same color as the 704). I have the orange one and it's my favorite of the three. Kinda reminds me of an orange dreamsicle.
