An auction ended today for an Electrolux air-powered polisher and some Electrolux accessories, including something very rare -- an "Electrolux Parts & Supply Bin," a heavy cardboard carrier sold (or maybe given as a purchase incentive) with the post-war Electrolux XXX [and perhaps later, but I've only seen it depicted in photos of Model XXXs]. You can see one in the picture attached and also in some of the photos on the linked page from my web site.

I have only seen one of these in my entire life, and I have it. It came with a beautiful (and I mean beeeeeee-yoooo-teeee-fulll!) Electrolux Model E that John Lucia found at an estate sale a few years ago and sent to me as a surprise because he knew that the Model E was my favorite Electrolux.

I was watching the auction but did not put a bid on it, thinking surely it would go sky high if "the right people" were watching it. Imagine my dismay when it closed for about 20 bucks...

I didn't save the link to it and now I can't find it. eBay's "search for concluded auctions" function is very limited and it doesn't come up for some reason.

Anyway, sure wish I had placed a bid on it, just to get that carton.

Yes, that's it. Wonder why I couldn't find it...

Anyway, I'm still regretting not having put a bid on it.

Oh well....... :(

I hope whoever wins it appreciates the rarity of the box and doesn't just throw it out or whatever...

Got it. It's spy talk.

Something about concrete shoes and a river.
