Nice machine!

This is a "Sears Brand Central" model and was a Sears exclusive. I have one of each of the line. Whatever you do DO NOT WASH THE BAG!!! The lettering will come right off. You'll enjoy that machine, and keep her because it's pretty rare now.

she's a beaut.

that is going to be a very nice hoover to ad to you're collection, im thinking of getting a hoover decade 80 from a local store before it gets sold. enjoy this timeless classic of a hoover, treat it right and it will last forever.

The bag REALLY faded! My grandparents bought a similar machine with that bag on ebay and the bag is way more dark than yours. Anyway, it cleans REALLY well. It can out clean my 7amp Eurekas, so it's GOOD. Way better than Elites too. Those A bags fill up like crazy! Defiantly High Performance!

The bag is not faded.

I have all the Sears Brand Central units. You have a different machine if the bag is dark. You have the very last of the Sears machines. If your machine is dark blue your bag has a different pattern, and your front lens has a Hoover logo. You will notice your machine also does not have a Hoover "bug" on the base.

The one I'm talking about is the U4725. It still has the same bag (but darker), the "Hoover Convertible" lens, but no logo on the side.
