Gotta give him some credit.... At least he's not asking some crazy price. It looks to be complete he says and comes with everything pictured... which is just one thing... the rusty body of the cleaner! I'd think complete meant it had a hose and attachments, no?

I just love how he put it in such a suiting background, rough concreet with bits of its power cord all knotted up

Mind, if somebody bought this at only one dollar and dubbed it the ultimate restoration I would be impressed

happy hooverin

Charlie

Something tells me..

Rick should do one of his AMAZING restorations on it, especially for only $1.00

"It looks as if it was pulled up from the Titanic"

That actually might not be too far from the truth. A former Electrolux dealer told me back in the 1950's, they had the marketshare of the whole northeast coast. They obtained so many trade-ins that they actually dumped them into the Atlantic Ocean. Good Lord, they're might even be early model V's down there!

An entire shipment of Electrolux XIIs from Sweden to the U.S. was lost at sea, which is why the company decided to open a manufacturing plant in the U.S.

If you want to see other disgusting vacuums-many of them new--just look in the dumpster of your favorite vacuum store!!Now I wished I had a camera to show some of them. And the gross vacuums may also lirk in the storerroms of your favorite vacuum place!Ad oh yes-some of the disgusting vacuums custormers bring in to be serviced or traded in towards new vacuums. And I have seen some pretty gross and BROKEN plastic vacuums waiting on the curb for the MERCILESS TRASH TRUCK!Most of these I just pass over.To gross to consider and haul home.

Here's another fine example of "wear and tear". This one has been on the site for a long time.
