I got a few questionss. I got the anaversary edition one, i don't know if that makes a difference. So the g4 does not work and the cost to repair it is expensive will sending it to the rebuild dept. will they fix it as well? I don't have anything for it and it is in my fathers name but addressed to my house. How much will it cost? If I had the original manual could I get a lower price? Is the rebuild program supose to be free? Are you limited to only one rebuild per vacuum in your lifetime? Does anyone know where I can find the manual online to download for free? If i send it can i just give them the electric part, i mean take out bag, front brush head, cord and handle? If it was fire damaged would the rebuild cost be less? Does my g4 even still have a warrenty? Is there anything else you would like me to know about the rebuild program?
It depends on the amount set for the model at the time of purchase. Ex--The Omega rebuild is $49.50, Tradition was $59.50. My UG is $175 during the first two years of ownership and then $175 plus the consumer price index increase for inflation. Manual suggest calling Kirby for a quote before sending the machine to them.
No, you are not limited to one rebuild. You can have your Kirby rebuilt as many times as needed.
