Did anyone notice that Aerus has updated their web site with the new models. At least the Lux STILL looks like an Electrolux and they are designed and built in the United States. I don't know if this is true for all their products but the tank type machines say they are designed and built in U.S.A. and they still have a Lux power nozzle and tools.
They claim 40% stronger air flow.

Like the new Luxes !

Rob
I have been on the Aerus site checking out the new models.
Also my friend Gary is a big lux fan. Went to Grove City
yesterday, sat. To check them out personally. He was telling
me that 2100.00 dollars is there price on which one now I don't remember. Do you know if they still have fixed prices
and fixed trade in prices ?? You know No offers accepted.

Since they are now franchisee owned shops, it depends on how hungry they are for a sale will determine the price

aerus lux

Norm,
That sounds like the full price of the old Guardian. Some of the branch storess may have some left over. The new Lux top of the line was to sell for about $1600.00 and I know one person who purchased it with a $200.00 discount. Did you check out the new color on the Lux classic? I have the similar 2100 and really like the machine because it is simple and light weight. I have been told that all 3 new machines have the the newer motor which gives 40% more air flow. I felt the increase in air flow when I tried one out at the branch but as Charlie always says "how much air and power do you need to move a little dust"-just kidding.
We collectors compare power but never heard of too many people that died because they had a little dirt embedded in their rug.
Rob
