Hello all!

Just yesterday I acquired a Sebo K1 Komfort canister out of a skip/dumpster. It's certainly had a hard life and plenty of use, but the motor runs very quietly and smoothly..after a clean up I decided it would be ideal for taking along to my next student house.

Have just run into one problem along the way- the bag holder mechanism. Can anybody shed any light on how this should function? I presume it is similar to the X1 in that the bag drops down when the door is opened, ready to be disposed of.

However, on mine the light grey plastic holder barely moves..should it cover the top of the compartment when closed? Am I missing any parts? As a temporary measure I wedged it against the fill tube, but it would be nice to get it working properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have attached pics to illustrate what I mean.

Thanks!

Rob

Hi Rob, I have one of these - bought last Christmas, used about twice, lol. I'll have a look at mine when I get a minute and see if I can help :)

And a close up..

The offending part! I have refitted it as I found it, but something here must be wrong.

Cheers Jack :) Mine certainly won't win any beauty contests but it seems a nice lil machine!
