Hi All,

Here's a pic of one of the newest members of my collection, a 1960's Hoover Suction Polisher model 5046A made by Hoover in France. It's a two brush, 250W machine. I have one it Green also,

Mark

Here's another odd looking one I have, also made in France but this time a three brush one. Can't remember the model no as it's now in storage.

Funny looking things

Mark

I would really like to find one of each of these models. They are both so very unusual. Thanks for the pictures.

Tom, to your knowledge, these were never sold in the states, right?

No we did not have them...I wonder if the Hoover dealers could get them though back in the day. Any thoughts UK guys?

Moller-Chemie buffer

I have this buffer which is made by Karcher Euro made for HMK here in the US but has been discountinue 2 years ago but I was so lucky to find it thru an ebay seller because You don't see these around at all, Mine is the first one that I see at all. I have to say it does an awsome job in fact I used it again today.

It seems odd to me that the suction polisher never took off in the states. The only time I ever saw one in the U.S was in an appliance store that specialized in "export appliances"-- meaning for people leaving the U.S. to live elsewhere.
