Yeah...I want one. They're pretty sexy vacuums, and I LOVE the features. I like the 'Classic' model with the plaid bag.

At the hotel I work for, we have a couple of the WINDSOR commercial grade "Flexamatic" eqivalents. The only difference is the flexamatics have a 15" brush instead of the standard 12" on the Felix.

Supposedly, you can get the Felix by SEBO in 15" but its only avaliable in one color combination.

I went to use the flexamatic today and it wouldn't power on. Hoping that the houskeeping staff would decide to 'throw it out,' I assisted in inspecting the problem. We checked everything, but something must not have been just right because we got it to work again. Too bad. I could have gotten one for free.

Does anybody want to part with their Felix or Flexamatic? A new one is insanely expensive. I'd really like to have one.

Its one of the few modern machines im sure id like. Seems like it might clean better than a traditional Sebo one-motor upright.

I must agree that the Windsor model is very attractive. My distant second choice would be the Sebo on the far right.

Now, how does the dirt flow through these? I thought for a second that the dirt might be pushed through the hose, and into the bag, but this would make the hose unusable. And, having an external cloth bag, it can't draw dirt through the hose and bag, so that's out. The only other possibility I can think of is that the hose is just held there until its used and nothing flows through it during normal operation, and theres some sort of internal fill tube thing. It just looks like some clean air designs where the hose is part of the dirt path.

Oh, I just had another thought. Do these remind anyone of the old Regina Broom Vacs? They had so many varieties, I can't imagine anyone could account for all of them. The cool bag patterns just bring those to mind.

Its like a cylinder with a handle attached. Thats a live hose, and the cloth is a wraparound filter/exhaust diffuser.

The Sebo Felix is a great vacuum. Its single-stage Ametek Italia motor provides lots of suction and is not excessively loud.

Probably one of the lightest dual-motor uprights available...

I had one, but .......

It wasn't my cup of tea. The bags are rather small and fill up quickly. The suction is wonderful, though. I would have kept it if it the power nozzle were balanced so that the head didn't tip when I picked it up to vacuum stairs, and also if it had a stair handle. Still, it's a great machine.
