Hi guys. Yes, I'm really happy about this. When I paid my last bill for Public Storage it was $287.00 (a month) and my partner (who I now work for) said. "We could plan a road trip. Fly to San Diego, rent a car, drive to Sacramento and exchange the car for a truck and bring that stuff here" As he has never been to the west coast, I'm thinking San Francisco, San Jose (Winchester Mystery House) and so on. We could stop at various places along the way home and make it our first adventure. As most of you know not only my vacuum cleaner collection, but my computer, furniture and practically everything I own is in there. We're talking a 15 foot uhaul truck, but it will all be where I can get at it. I'll keep you posted as to when! Alex Taber |

The road trip we are planning is going to be rather exensive with air fare, rental car, motel expences, food and so on. We are planning places to see but that is half of the fun. The ultimate goal is to get my stuff, from there who knows. We do not have the space for a display room, but at least I will have access to my machines. Needless to say, the Whirlwind WILL be here and where I can see it. I'll keep you posted on when the road trip is and I'll make a list of fellow collectors to see enroute. The nice thing is, I have something to plan for. |
