Hello,

Here's a few pictures showing a small sample of my collection. I would like to upload the entire collection on Vacuumland, but how do I do it?

Thanks.

Thanks Clayton.

I should have scrolled down on the home page and I would have seen the link myself. Oh well, I was up at 4.15am, so my brain is a bit frazzled!

Thanks again.

It is called the Hoover Purepower Big Foot which came out around 2002/2003 and it is basically a Purepower but with a 15 inch cleaner head as apose to a 12 inch cleaner head.

I posted this in 2009 and I hardly have any of the cleaners pictured now.

All the Dysons have gone, all the stick vacs and handhelds, both Mieles, some of the Sebos
and all but two of the Purepowers.

I still have quite a collection, but it keeps changing as some cleaners get sold on, unless I keep them for sentimental reasons, because I enjoy using them or they perform well.

Roger, whilst you're here, is their any particular reason you have blocked me from commenting on your videos or subscribing to your YouTube channel?

I didn't realise I had blocked you Chris. Do you use Turbo500 as your user name on YouTube?

I have blocked two people. One for saying I need to get a life for collecting vacuums and I can't remember
why I blocked the other user, but I only block if someone says something to annoy me.

If you are sorcerer101567 I will lift the block because I didn't know it was you.

I'm sorcerer101567, yes. If I've done anything to annoy you, please tell me...It certainly wouldn't have been intentional!

I have unblocked you Chris. I can't remember what you said, I was probably having an off day.

Honestly, if I ever say or do anything you find annoying, just shout up and tell me to quit it.

Hey seamus, that was the DC27 animal, not too many of these were sold, but comet started selling them again just before they closed:)

Dyson DC27

Yes Seamus, that was a Dyson DC27 Animal and I hated it so much that I sold it on Ebay less than two weeks after buying it.

It was the LOUDEST Dyson I had ever used and as most Dysons are very noisy, I just couldn't use it without wearing ear defenders.

It wasn't black, it's just the way it looked in the photo.

Yep, a green username with no city/location listed means the account is deleted.

I had no idea Rodger was a member here in the past.

I wonder what camera he had in 2009 where his photos were so crisp. I had a digital camera that ran on AA batteries back then. lol

Also I had no idea that Hoover made a Toyota sponsored vacuum.

That Hoover FreeJet stick vac intrigues me. That was sold here in the USA as the Dirt Devil AccuCharge (Dirt Devil is a TTI owner company) . Was Hoover UK, at one time, associated with TTI like Hoover USA? I will attach a picture of the aforementioned Dirt Devil AccuCharge stick vac.

That Hoover Captor is the same as the Dirt Devil Scorpion Turbo and the Hoover Handy Cordless is the same as the Dirt Devil AccuCharge hand vac!

Nice detective work!

It wouldn't surprise me if Hoover USA and Hoover UK shared their chassis molds back and forth.

Fun fact - the Dirt Devil Scorpion was just an updated model using the same chassis as the earlier Dirt Devil Extreme Power.

I actually have a Dirt Devil Extreme Power! I forgot I actually had it. My parents bought it from brand new and it just got kicked into a corner when the batteries konked out and gradually ended up in a box in the garage.

I had a Dirt Devil Scorpion Turbo, and it was a corded hand vacuum. It looked nothing like that one. Dirt Devil may have reused the Scorpion name on a cordless hand vac. I will attach a picture of the original Dirt Devil Scorpion for comparison.
