Hi again. Anyone in the UK have the information on the Electroluxes in the uk and the diffrent bag and filter type each took as well as the date the models were out from.

I know someone scanned it on here a year or so ago but I can't find it.
I had it saved on my old pc but not on my laptp what use now.

For example I would like to date the Electroluxes 305 and 312 etc

Thanks for your help people.

James

"Challenge"

Challenge by Electrolux 1965 the lux z65 in a different colour scheme produced under the Challenge brand name for door to door selling... had cloth bag and paper insert kit i think this and the 65 were the last "loaf" shaped lux to use the ballbearing hose coupler in this country i think all went over to 3prong bayonet after.... please feel free to correct me if i have this wrong

ok James

just a couple of uk lux examples! im sure the rest of them will provide you with much more accurate dates ,info and of course much better photography than my now famously terrible photography!
but there have been some lovely threads lately about uk lux cylinders.. my thread about my ex nieghbours blue mystery 60s/70s lux that turned out to be the z77 thanks to great info and input from Mike, Al and the others, and the Trident thread which we had great response to (and i beleive Mike still has some to add to that)which was a door to door brand name on great looking Electrolux-made vacs.
Will look forward to some good responses on this one ,guys
Si

One model I don't see listed there is Model 710 - where does that fit into the timescale?
