So, I was *supposed* to get a brown Hoover Ultraflex (or Veriflex, whichever!) hose, as well as another cloth hose for my Hoover 61, and another attachment set. This was a trade, I sent her the vacuum that she wanted and she never sent my items, ugh!

I'm kindly asking if anybody here has a spare set of attachments and or an Ultraflex hose or a cloth one that they'd be willing to sell.

And here is when I had it apart to lube the top bearing. No wonder why this thing was running hot, somebody GREASED the top bearing! I bought it from the Kirby shop so a Kirby service tech probably greased it.

The only thing I did before the photo was taken was give the bearing a wipe down, and later gave it a cleaning with nail polish remover. Luckily it didn't get ruined! Sadly I didn't get to run it after I cleaned and oiled the bearing...
