If anyone is interested, you may make an offer and I'll sell it to the person who makes the best offer. The cord is not included because I didn't receive one when I purchased it but there is a LIKE NEW METAL FAN in this machine. This machine needs new carbon brushes and possibly new bearings, but besides that, it runs beautifully. The machine is green and has an 18 inch wide nozzle!!

Kirbyman89, what is the bag set up? What kind of bags does it take, assming it takes a paper insert? Was this original to the machine, or was there a Sani Emptor originally? Also, are brush rolls still avalible for these, or do you know?
What year did these come out? Im assuming mid 70s? Thanks!

Oh, 1974, just saw it in the heading, thanks!
How long were these machines produced?

I have that same cleaner. Mine has the original bag which is white perforated vinyl with a cloth insert inside.

Dear Briankirbyclass

I don't know how long these were manufactured, or if the brushrolls are still replaceable if they were ever replaceable. Ohio_Tuec described what the original bag looked like, for I've never seen one. I really hope to get an offer for it soon. Happy offering!!

What's the story behind these cleaners? I assume they're commercial models?

Nothing more than the dual 80

Hi All I also have that mine we call the July 4th unit as it is Red, White, Blue. I would like to get a new floor brush so far i cant find it. VERY HARD to put a new belt on. I take a almost new belt of my Heritage2 that makes it easier. All and all very good vacuum. Take care Doug

"Speaking of ugly-ass vacuum cleaners," heheh!!

I used to have one of the red-white-blue "American Lincoln" machines. It went the way of one of my garage cleanups. I forget now who took it, I think it was Kyle Mathews.

I am able to put my hands on several of them locally where I am. However, that said they all need to be gone thru & restored. So based on what you would let it go for + s/h would decide if I am interested.

If you wanna shoot me an email (profile) with what you'd let it go for & the s/h amount.

TY in advance

Bill

Super sweep

My mom is trying to find out what it's worth. I had a guy offer me $2000 for it once but I didn't sell it to him. Do you know where I can find out what it is really worth??

"An item is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it."
A wise quote from our own Fred Stachnik.

$2000 ?!

That is crazy, and don't expect someone to give you that here. I've thrown away better machines. You should of taken the money when the person offered it LOL. It doesn't even have the original bag.

$2000 equates to at least 4 cars for resale at the charity auction for me.

I wouldn't give you $20 for it.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Call the guy who offered you $2000, before they adjust his medication,

This guy was on youtube and shortly after I said I wanted $2,000 for it and he said "sold!" his account was and still is closed

Actually, I can take credit for that quote, written many years ago (sometime around 1996 or 1997) in my "How Much is Aunt Tillie's Old Sweeper Worth?" essay.

See link.
