Today I as looking at the Royal web-site and I noticed something. New vacuums were on the web-site. One, is a commercial Hoover Tempo, known as a Standard Upright. And the others were a line of canisters for the home known as the Lexon. The top of the line looks like an Anniversary Edition WindTunnel canister with the Hoover's Platinum Edition canister's power head.

There are the links to the new vacuums.

Does anyone know about why they did this?

Speaking of TTI's craziness...

While out shopping yesterday, I spotted a "new" Hoover Steamvac high up on the shelf at London Drugs...

This one was a Dirt Devil Easy Steamer rebranded as a Hoover.

Hey there,
I was in the local vacuum shop a few weeks ago and I was wondering why Royals had gone down in quality at least for the canisters and uprights not including the Everlast Series, which even they have been made cheaper, but they still have the great power and all. Anyway, the salesman told me that Hoover and Royal are both now owned by some Chinese company. I don't remember the name but it was upsetting to hear that two American classics have gone overseas like that. It's the same with Tristar, Eureaka and Electrolux they are now all owned by a different Chinese company too.

I saw that shampooer also. I have a Hoover Clean&Light, and there is also a Royal Branded one, in orange, and blue.

maybe, then, people should VOICE their opinions.

TELL them how you/we feel... Inform TTI that nobody wants them, THEN DON'T BUY THEM! Cripple them..... Martin L King jr moved a mountain with the bus situation. It took over a year.Would USA have that kind of guts again?
