And they're celebrating with a revamped website, featuring a Limited Edition Anniversary range of machines!

I was only on their website last night!

Looks far better than the old one, but would like to see a bit more interaction like demo videos.

Shame there is only one Hoover US sourced cleaner in the Anniversary range. I may be tempted to get the Mach 7.

I like all the Hoover sourced Vax cleaners, but I'm not keen on the others. I know some were available as Dirt Devil in the US, but do you know who makes the Power range Jack?

Hi Roger,

I'm not sure about the Power range; I've never taken a huge interest in those, I really only like the multi-cyclonic 'No Loss of Suction' models. I'll have to check into it for you.

Did you notice on the new 'About Us' page, it says:

'...And tomorrow our future is bright. We’re launching an exciting new range of products this autumn – developed with you and your home in mind.'

;)

I hope that means the Platinum range don't you Jack?

I would love the carpet cleaner, but all the Platinum cleaners are worth looking at.

Hi Roger,

no, it's not the Platinum range - that's still under consideration, but the general feeling is that it's too America-focussed, and wouldn't really be appropriate here. But we'll see...

The new range is just that - entirely new.

How can Vax say the Platinum range are too America focused when they market American designed machines now?

The Platinum carpet cleaner is not that different to the Dual V and I would have thought the Platinum lightweight would appeal to people wanting a lightweight cleaner with better performance than the Oreck.

I wonder if this new range will be entirely new and not just re-badged versions of current machines offered elsewhere.

Totally, 100% brand new - trust me! ;)

Ok Jack. I'll trust you ;-)
