Has anyone tried the bagless Kirby Conversions? I have seen them on Ebay and just ignored them but was curious is anyone had tried one. |

I really can't think why anyone would want these! Why ruin the performance and appearance of a perfectly good Kirby by sticking those monstrosities on it? |

was the question I had. Just why? Were not the original Kirbys "bagless" or at least shake and dump. This contraption just has a filter to clog and a lot less performance. |

Why isn't it more widely used - if it offers genuine benefits, surely the industry should be jumping all over it? |

Posted same info in: Thread# 6976 Funny thing is, I find this guy mentioned NOWHERE, on any patents, with 'his name' tied to Kirby or Bison. [Or even his present contraption.] [Unless maybe he was using an alias. LOL] --Inventor's name goes on the patent for the last 70 ± years. Prior to that, sometimes the inventor was not properly listed, rather who they worked for was listed & got 'credit' for it.-- (This info came from someone "in-the-know' at the NARA --National Archives) --BUYER BEWARE-- LOL hagd Bill |
