Has anyone tried the bagless Kirby Conversions? I have seen them on Ebay and just ignored them but was curious is anyone had tried one. | ||

I really can't think why anyone would want these! Why ruin the performance and appearance of a perfectly good Kirby by sticking those monstrosities on it? | ||

Why??? was the question I had. Just why? Were not the original Kirbys "bagless" or at least shake and dump. This contraption just has a filter to clog and a lot less performance. | ||

dont know why...works for shop vac...so i figured id try it on other stuff...along the same idea of pantyhose over a filter will extend the life of a expensive nla filter...not on the market..not practical. but it works. | ||

retardturtle To my mind, the number of people wanting to use this device for 'fun', or as a demo tool, is not a particularly sizeable market niche. If you want to save on bags, get a bagless machine. Don't castrate a Kirby. | ||

Posted same info in: Thread# 6976 Funny thing is, I find this guy mentioned NOWHERE, on any patents, with 'his name' tied to Kirby or Bison. [Or even his present contraption.] [Unless maybe he was using an alias. LOL] --Inventor's name goes on the patent for the last 70 ± years. Prior to that, sometimes the inventor was not properly listed, rather who they worked for was listed & got 'credit' for it.-- (This info came from someone "in-the-know' at the NARA --National Archives) --BUYER BEWARE-- LOL hagd Bill | ||
