Ok here it is... My very first Hoover. I got this pink model 586 Hoover at a local garage sale for 5 bucks. It was from the original owner.I will also have an after pic. Whatv would be the best way to wash the outer bag?

I love your first Hoover! Maybe the bag would be good in the tub with a little mild dishwashing liquid and warm water.

absolutley

Then use some good wax or vinyl restorer to give it the supplness back and protect it. Buff the hood and your good to go.

Brad,

I am so excited that you got your first Hoover, and it being a pink Convertible too.
Have you used it yet?, if so what do you think of it?
Cant wait to see it cleaned up, I know it will be great.
Also hoping there will also be a youtube video.

Congratulations,

Sam

Thanks for the warm responses..

I really appreciate your warm responses. I am feeling a bit under the weather today with a very nagging headache. I have to share with you that reading all of your warm and kind responses made my day!!

Thank you.
