I came home last night from work to find a beautiful mint green Hoover convertible on my front porch, left like an orphaned child. It's a model 4307, coverall hood with the height indicator window, says Hoover Convertible Two-Speed on the front decal below the headlight, uses an A bag, has matching green stripes on the bag. Looks like a Convertible Estate/Elite model w/o the square type handle. Did someone tell me once that if the bag has horizontal stripes, it was a KMart model? I turned it on and the motor and brushroll are great, however does sound like it has a broken fan, which will be remedied very soon. Even the cord is great, no nicks, evidently someone didn't want to invest in a new fan, little did they know what a great cleaning vac they had! I hope I'll find the sender eventually and thank them, it's a beautiful edition to my collection!

K-mart Hoover

Your right, the stripe bag and color are from K-Mart. Probably 80's. Great gift!!!

Re: Fantom Santa:

Hey! Rick, did you ever find out who your Fantom Santa was, giving you the Mint Green Hoover Convertible Vacuum Cleaner? Whomever it was, that was very nice of them to let someone have it, that would really appreciate it and keep it running for quite some time, unless you might just keep it as a collectable.

Kind Regards, Steve
