1) The rebuilds for the terms stated, are for the ORIGINAL purchaser ONLY. 2) The rebuilds are to restore luster, appearance, performance & longevity for the ORIGINAL purchaser. The rebuilds are NOT for collecting & restoring purposes. [[ Which I am doing, so I understand from that perspective. ]] What you might do, is POLITELY ask if the 'original' parts could be returned, as you are a collector. The rebuild does NOT say parts will be replaced with 'identical' parts. Parts will be replaced with currently manufactured parts. (The answers you are looking for (which parts are replaced) are in the rebuild flyer.) If you are NOT the original owner, then this is null & doesn't apply. Name me another company (particularly vacuums) who stands behind their product like Kirby does, will you? |
