Hello: I have a Kirby 519 vaccum, it runs great (but cord just failed at plug) at anyrate, i would like to know if there is a conversion to allow use of paper bags inside the cloth bag?? this vacuum has the cloth bag, but I have seen a long time ago a paper bag that would fit inside the cloth bag on a Kirby.

this should help keep down the dust level.

please advise on if this is a possible conversion.

thanks

Option

You can install a Mini Emptor from the Heritage II , Legend, Legend 2 with a fill tube that allows the newer Hepa bags. However you need to pick a bag with a full zipper in it that will allow access to the paper bag. You can pick from The Tradition to any current machine bag for this conversion but it won't have the original look. My suggestion is to set up a conversion bag for when the machine is used for vacuuming and keep the original bag for display use.

ok, i will try to look up parts.

thats great advice, i will look up the parts I will need, yes i will keep the original stuff, I want a better daily use vacuum, for dust control. this upgrade will be nice. this is my moms old vacuum, my dad and now i keep up the machine with regular oiling and cleaning. still have the cardboard box with attachments. used to hang in my garage when i was a kid.

thanks for the reply!!!

If you want to email me, I can give you a price & order if you are interested. These would be GENUINE Kirby parts.
