The Electrolux model 25 that I've been waiting for since February (A curse on the postal system) finally arrived this morning. I spent a good part of the morning working on it and here's the final result.

I do still need a few parts for it though if anyone has some spares. I'm missing the crevice tool and brush head, the small elbow, book (I'd settle for an email copy :) ), vaporizer and sprayer. I also need the push bar for the switch as this one is broken.

Its a great machine and I'm very happy to have it. Thanks again Edgar.

Doug

PS - The large floor brush in the picture was an optional accessory - not standard equipment.

Nice one, Doug. Love that beautiful dark green, and the screw-in hose.

Beautiful Lux, Doug!

It looks quite similar to a XII, other than the color and the rear end. Is it older, or newer than the XII? Congrats on a great find!

Hey Jeff:

The 25 was made from 1934 -45 (while the XII was from 1930 to 33 in Europe). The 25 had alot of improvements over the XII including the easily removable bakelite exhaust end over the filter, tapered hose, larger hose connector on the machine end and a bag full signal.

Love Green!!!

Don't have that manual but I do have the 1928 Electrolux House Of Health 16 page booklet. Do you have this, Doug? Happy to email them to you...or anyone. It's nine very high rez scans so you can read the testimonial letter and fine print. Should print nicely.

Meantime, enjoy the post-able version:

page 16. Make that a ten page scan.

What model Electrolux would this be?

Dave
