I waited for the Dimension 1000 for a very long time, and got it, but I did not expect another a few days later:). I was talking to a collector and he said he had one with a "hose problem" so whenever you pull the hose up real far, it shorts out, but I will not use it much, due to I do not want to lose another. I also got an Electrolux. It is a model 1521, I siran wrapped (not sure how to spell it) the hose, and it had a bit of rust, that will clean up, other wise it is very nice. Both vacuums are near mint. I traded a Hoover Convertible and a Eureka 2034a. Luckily we lived by eachother. So this worked out nicely:). If you have any info on the Lux it would be greatly appriciated :). Thanks,
-Chase-

should i just replace the hose on the dimension? I have no clue how to fix it, but I would imagine that it is the 3prongs....

Why not use the hose off of your Dimension that died recently?

Your Lux is a Diamond Jubilee.

the old hose.......

is a two prong, this one is a 3 prong, because of the switch on the handle. :(

To get really specific with the Electrolux, its a late version of the Diamond J with the black PN6 vs the older white PN5. There might also be a few other minor differences too, but that's the biggest.
