Yes indeed, Eric, my next job is to clean this one up. I didn't so much as wipe off the dust when I took the pictures. I've found Magic Eraser to be good for those bumpers too. |

Welcome home to Canada, Bob. Not to say that is not also your home. It would be fascinating to hear about a see pictures of how you live in China. But now you're home home, what a lovely welcoming sight to unbox. The tan G. Yes, you'll have to get a US spec hose coupler for that which should be simple. If you are in desperate need email me and by then I'll know what I can offer up in Amerilux hoses that would match up. What province of Canada are you in again? Fellow Canadian Dave. |

Another thought. To the best of my recollection the front wheels on a G or similar 5 wheeled Lux are not meant to touch a flat floor - the caster does that job. The front wheels are for decorative balanced effect but also on carpet do make contact and prevent the caster from sinking in to the pile. So, my guess is a back wheel has been bunged up since it will also not turn. Do let us know the diagnosis - tan G wheels are much easier to find than turquoise G wheels. Dave |

Bob....if you want to really have some fun, try searching the internet for vac websites from Japan. Just go to each big Japanese manufacturer's main website and even if you can't read Japanese, try to navigate your way over to the webpage for vacs (try every link...). Each company should end in "co.jp" so for instance Toshiba is toshiba.co.jp. It's amazing the things they are trying out on vacuums over there! Sanyo recently had a canister vac that recycled the filtered air back up the hose and into the attachments for a second time! Here's a start: www.toshiba.co.jp/living/cleaners... Try this with Korean websites too like Samsung! |
