I am not sure what this is even called. I got it for 15 dollars at a vac shop. It has a two speed motor and it very powerful. But it weighs a ton. I do not think that it has the original bag. Could anyone give me some info in it? Thank You, Chase.

I dont know how I missed this one, Its from the early 70's im guessing, only because of the metal base. Its sister is the Kenmore Twin-fan. Im thinking they went to all plastic around 74-75 mabe before Hoover even. My grandmothers Neighbor had an all plastic she gave me with the maual and paperwork and she got it in 74 or 76. It was a BOL model but she also purchased the attachments for it.It was in bad shape tho, the vinyl bag was sewn many times at the bottom and held together with safety pins. My cousins mother also gave me a 2speed Singer around 89 with cord rewind and she said it was about 10 years old . Hope this helps a bit.
Also did you check the underside nearest the hight ajustment pedal sometimes they would stamp the date there on the plastic ones.
Kenny

Filterqueen, here might be your second chance...

A buddy of mine has this Singer vac, and was wondering more about it. Frankly, I know zilch about Singer so any info would be appreciated!

I rather like it, myself.

Love the "headlight" label on the hood!

I am so glad that they invested in extra ink to tell potential buyers that the vac had a headlight! I guess we could not figure this out on our own by just looking a few inches down.

In fairness, I guess some people would not know that the lens on the hood will light up when you turn the thing on.......

That extra ink...

...probably saved them a lot of settlement payouts from the crowd that uses the blow dryer in the shower -- don't forget that warning. Or why we all drink tepid coffee because someone was awarded 1.5 million for spilling it in her lap.

I really wish product liability lawyers would cease interfering with natural selection. We'd be a stronger people if they did.
