Hey guys I found another vacuum. This one is a Black & Decker, it looks a lot like a Hoover Dimension--How old is it, I got it at a thrift store for $5.00. Here's some pix of it.

Hoover or Eureka?

What does the underside of the Powernozzle look like? The belt view window was a Eureka Feature as far as I know. My Wards aka Eureka has a belt view window.

I vagely remember True Vale having one of two of those vacs back in 89-90 mabe earilier like 87ish.The PN screams Eureka but the rest of the vacuum says Hoover Spirit/Dimention.It also reminds me of the UK Hoover Sensortronic like Jack has.

Black & Decker vacuum

Black & Decker vacuums like yours were made by Sanyo as a private label machine. Not a bad machine, but parts will be a nightmare to find. I occasionally run into belt/bags at my local vacuums stores, but haven't seen any recently. Hope this helps
